Cloisonne Enamels in Copper with Navah Langmeyer

May 9-10th 2026 10-4pm

Aimed at all abilities this course will give you a solid base of knowledge about the cloisonne technique so you will be able to continue creating designs in your own time. Navah will cover all you need to get started including materials, tools, enamels and methods you will need to start your journey. You will be making XXX test tiles plates and 1 final piece.

During the 2 day course of the day you will learn about different types of application methods, considerations for choosing type of enamels used, tools needed for manufacture and considerations for design success. Navah will cover what works well and what to avoid. You will be working in copper as you build more confidence so in future you can explore more designs in silver or gold.

Copper and enamels are includedin the cost of the course.

What is included?

· Materials and tools are provided on the day. You may choose to purchase some kit from Navah on the day to use in future.

· Handout to take home and use for future designing

· Refreshments of tea, coffee and biscuits.
