"Moi et Toi" 25th anniversary

This ring comissioned to commemorate 25 years of love and adventure with the man she loves. The two stones in the ring are meant to represent the two people in the relationship and their connection to each other. The stones are often contrasting in color and size to create a visually striking design and this ring is certainly that. These GIA certified natural diamonds are both over a carat each and are clearly exhibiting differences in cut and colour set in a sculped platinum ring.

When designing this I was thinking very much about Henry Moore sculptures I first admired way back when I was a Fine Arts student visiting the UCLA campus back home in California. Much later in my life I was pleased to find more of his work along with many others closer to my new home here in UK @YSP Yorkshire Sculpture Park. As I sketched this and carved it out I was distincly thinking about the weight and flow of the mount and band. When I mentioned this to her, she was really pleased as she is a big fan of YSP and Henry Moore’s work.

I think it is a beautiful ring that will be worn and admired for years to come. Happy 25th Anniversary.
