GIA Graduate Diamond Diploma
I am finally able to say I have completed all the training needed to earn my Graduate Diamond Diploma from the GIA*. It was fun, interesting, tiring and really hard but I pushed through and kept going. I am happy that I passed with high marks too!
The last leg of the training was probably the best part as it was in my native California and on the gorgeous campus in Carlsbad. I have to say it was impressive in every way. The location, view, facility, staff, library and extensive mineral collection was amazing. I wholeheartedly can say if I could I would love to be able to study there as a full time student what a place!
Here are a few shots I took when I was there.
*The Gemmologial Institute of America was established in 1931 and is the world’s foremost authority on diamonds, colored stones, and pearls. A public benefit, nonprofit institute, GIA is the leading source of knowledge, standards, and education in gems and jewelry.
