Design Technology Lessons

This group of teens attended another full day workshop for a Design Technology lesson where they further explored the materiality of copper and brass. We went straight into the torches and played with fire. They annealed, work hardened, roller printed, cut and filed and foldformed. We had the challenge of marking out and bending 11 bends to discover they could be scooped up into a star for decoration. I love teaching younger people they are so fun and full of excitment. This group is a absolute joy…. depsite having had a long break between lessons they really remembered what I taught them the previous Spring. I was SO delighted!
