18th celebration family diamonds

This ring was made from what was originally a family heirloom Victorian tie pin with 4 old mine cut diamonds in it. The diamonds were then remodeled by another jeweller into a ring but was never worn as it was not what she wanted and was deeply unhappy with it. Then she asked me to remodel it into a ring for her grandaughters 18th birthday.

I consulted with the birthday girl and she was very specific in what she wanted for her dream ring. We used 3 of the diamonds to symbolise the 3 generations in a traditional setting that will last for years to come. This is all hand fabricated as each diamond was completley unique and had odd geometric dimentions. A classic design with a little modern twist. Happy 18th A!
